Morning. Apparently, the Royal British Legion are not keen on "poppy fascists" who look down on folk who haven't acquired one of the iconic red paper emblems. I haven't managed to buy one this year, mainly because I haven't really left the house in a week, and no-one dares to sell them door to door like they used to in the olden days. Nevertheless, I will still stop at 11am, and remember. While I will mainly be thinking of those who served the British and Commonwealth armed forces, I will also remember those who were fighting on the other side. I also remember those men and women still out there somewhere, risking life and limb to protect us. Whether you agree with what they're generally being asked to fight or not, they still deserve our respect. In other news, we made it to Friday. Good morning all, Skeleton staff in the office today, it would have been worse still if I hadn't managed to wriggle out of going to a meeting in Somerset today. Six hours driving for a 90 minute meeting that is a carbon copy of one we had at the beginning of the summer, who wouldn't want to go?  'Poppy Fascists' is spot on, Heather. We have at least one here. I stuck a couple of quid in the box but, just because I choose not to wear one, I am somehow dis-respecting the fallen? What a bunch of crap. and.... breathe. Have a good one.

Morning all Was out last night at a recording of the Now Show - very funny - will be on tonight on Radio 4 - 6.30 -7.00 And... Off out boozing tonight then boozing Saturday night at a wedding not sure if I can take it at my age but will give it my best shot!

Afternoon all, Haven't ben here for a while... Had my first observed session of the academic year this morning. It went OK, (it probably went well, actually) but I was left thinking that I wish I'd done little bits which I didn't, like even more starter activities, etc. Oh well, according to preliminary feedback, apparently I'm not as bad as I think I am...
