Gf's younger brother brought his laptop and mobile over yesterday. He wanted to make a backup of the contacts on the phone on his PC (htc Sensation to Windows XP)... Only he didn't bring the power supply. By the time we had downloaded and installed the software, the battery was flat!

Morning all.
Doing a bit of overtime later today. Still, the extra money will come in handy over Christmas at least.
Have a great day folks.

Morning all, Remember that job I wanted? Got it. Resigned on Friday and I should start on 5th December. I've been here (Australia) just over 2 years now and this is the job I was hoping for in the next 2 or 3 years so I'm really pleased. Just hope it all goes ok. Happy chappy. Enjoy your day

Later start this morning. Feels odd, not getting up at 5.

Morning World, Congrats Mr Blue, you certainly seem to be thriving in the antipodes Can it really be 2 years though? Sounds like you're making your mark. Good Luck with the new job xx Nothing much to report on this front, finally got down to some work on the website for my business, it's starting to come together, I just need to work out how the heck to advertise myself and start pimping my services to build a client base while also working full time, to get the business built up to a point where I can quit the day job (or at least go part-time) this is the delicate and tricky part, I don't want to mess it up so I'm taking it slowly and planning properly (I hope.) Otherwise we had family over this weekend, dinner out on Saturday night and everyone had good time. Now I'm trying to wrap my head around Xmas and how I'm going to get that arranged in time, while simultaneously not wanting anything to do with it We've got family coming for Xmas this year so I actually *have* to be organised in a myriad of ways, but the first and most important thing is to find a live Xmas tree with roots that we can plant up and keep for a few years, I wonder if our local garden centre do them?! Trying to ignore work, it's desperately frustrating and feels like a massive waste of my time at the moment, but it is paying the bills so it must stay ..... for now!

Morning. What happened to the weather again? Lovely sunshine yesterday, good mood to match; mist, fog and murk today, mood to match. Oh, and does anyone know how to reset the timers on cats? Ours seem to be set to go off too early. Onwards and sideways.

Morning all, It's a grey and misty start to the day down here. My coffee is already a distant memory, and now I have a headache. Ever get the feeling that this isn't going to be the best of days? Congrats to Blue_Nowhere, on the new job. Later

Morning all, Seems as though I haven't been here for ages... Must remedy that. So, first things first... as others have said Congrats to Mr. Blue on your new job. Amy, I'm also working on a Website for a business idea, and it sounds as though I am having the same sort of problems as you... I'm still pondering but if I come up with a master plan I'll give you a shout! OK, back to it so for now... Have a great day everyone.
