You have to keep that handy, it seems CRB checks need to be done every time you change your jacket.

Pretty much. Think I've had something six or seven in the past five years. Thankfully I don't have to pay for it!

People in multistory car parks. Seriously.
1) DO NOT drive along at slower than walking pace, pausing to check each time a small car is parked on the opposite side to a larger car just in case that might actually be an empty space. if the car park was full the big sodding glowing sign at the entrance would have told you.
2) DO NOT hold an entire queue of people up trying to do an 12 point turn to get into the last parking space on the floor when anyone in possession of eyes and a small collection of brain cells can see there are tons of spaces on the floor above.
3) DO NOT pause at the top of the up ramp, peering round the floor to see if there are any spaces before continuing, therefore requiring the poor bastard who was in the queue behind you to firstly brake hard, then have to do a hill start to avoid rolling back into the other poor bastard who was stuck behind him, in the massive queue of people who are stuck behind you due to your lack of observance of rules 1) and 2)
4) DO get the sodding ticket out of your sodding handbag before you drive up to the exit barrier.
5) DO wait until the queue of traffic has passed before blindly reversing out when straightening your car up in the parking space.
6) DO take the stairs if you are unencumbered, physically fit and have parked on the first floor.
Gah!

I'm getting a real hatred for the sheer amount of asymmetrical headphones in the market

Yeah yeah, the bloody cable, they just don't feel right to me at all... And you'd think MP3 player manufacturers would actually supply asymmetrical cabled headphones if they're that feckin' popular

Those earphones where, rather than splitting 2/3 of the way up, the cable goes first to one ear and then to the other. Nasty, horrid things they is! [/gollum]

I find the asymmetrical cables a bit annoying - mainly because I used to pass the longer cable around the back of the neck and if the cable was too short, the earbud wouldn't fit when I turned my head.
At the mo, any Xmas related stuff that is shown outside of December. IMO it should be banned eg mince pies.

I don't think it's smartphones killing off Garmin's GPS sales, it's their supremely annoying ads

Mine are asymetric, but they're large over ear ones so the cable runs into one earpiece and then through the headband, so no issues.

What the heck are internet citizens doing with their ear/headphones? I'm reading loads of reviews at the moment and there seem to be an awful lot of people who can destroy them within 6 months! I have various cheaper-end sets that are years old, and some were listened to every day

Oh I got some DJ headphones, make me look like a Cyberman but they have a bit of bass to them, I assume the cable's in the headband Yeah just checked and it's a tiny doorbell wire hidden in the plastic frame not quite as impressive as the 5 metre spiral cable going into the speakers.

While we're on the subject, what is this fashion thing with buying massive sodoff DJ cans and then wearing them over a wool beanie you've got pulled down over your ears?
First of all, buying big can headphones will not make anyone think you're a DJ. You wannabe halfwit.
Secondly, buying a big expensive pair of headphones then destroying their well crafted sound qualities by listening to them through couple of layers of woven fabric just makes you look like an utter idiot.
Stop it.
