Exactly, we haven't even had first advent yet! (This Sunday BTW).

I'm only starting early because this is probably the first year ever where I've got all the presents sorted and I won't be stressing out hoping that the postman manages to make the final delivery day. :D

I'm at home today, I have the TV on in the background. Has there always been this much sh!te on morning TV?

The choice really is either listen to that annoying little runt Dom Littlewood talking about 'dog poo' or Hazel feckin Blears on the Parliament Channel.

At times like this, I tend to leave it on the BBC News channel. But yes, there's always a load of crap on TV in the mornings.

Now if people 'choose' to live this lifestyle then I think they need appointments with the local Mental Health Trust.

When I retired I made myself some rules or guidelines to follow. One of the first was that I could only watch tv at lunchtime and for a max of 40 minutes. Music is my chosen media background for during the day either from the radio, computer or hi-fi :D

Very wise. Antiques programmes seem to be the flavour at the moment, at least it's not some halfwit talk show which just entails a numbnuts presenter shouting at people who need educational support.

That would be good. It would mean I can get to work and still get paid (I live 10 minutes walk away) and the vast majority of staff cannot. If we're below 50% staffing levels they close the phone lines.

If it snows, I need there to be at least 3' or I'll be expected to drive to work - which is not only nerve racking, but also adds a couple of hours to my day. This despite the fact that I can actually work far more efficiently from home :x

Plus I'd really need it to wait until my next grocery order has arrived, unless Tesco start using tanks and snow ploughs to deliver my beer

I mean a yard deep. If it was only 3" I'd be expected to drive.

Aye, we need much snow.

3", pah, that's a dusting.
