If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I couldn't imagine getting a PC ready to play one these days - PS3 game patches are infuriating alone

I think that only becomes a problem if you try to stay current with games. This laptop is 4 years old now and was never designed for serious gaming, but quite happily plays HL2 and Counterstrike. Perhaps in a year or two I'll update this machine, and will then be able to play other games that are 6+ years old. And the best thing about playing old games is that the patches are already there, and the zombie mods are well established. :)

Some cheap Skullcandy headphones - probably as good as my Sennheisers, so we'll see if they last as long (they're essentially a back-up set anyway) :)

2 HDMI cables from Amazon for £1.38 each and a Wifi adapter for my new Freeview box which has its own on-line TV portal. The adapter should come next week.

Some of the stuff in here is yummy, some of it you'd need to be a pastry chef with several year's experience to make .

Very nice, although I still prefer the htc phones... I'll be interested to see, how quickly the promised ICS update comes out for the Sensation. Hopefully not too long, as I bought an unbranded Sensation, so I only have to wait for htc to release it, not for some carrier or other to then arse it up.

Last night I was driving back from Plymouth to Northampton.

I started yawning at Exeter.

It tastes like crap but it got me home.

I was in Exeter on Saturday, and did think about you! Was bus twanging arrows, though.
