1st frost of the year at home - had to scrape the car (thankfully had listened to the forecast as had covered up the windscreen so at least that was clear)

Morning all, All this talk of frost and cold weather is making me home sick, it's going to reach 30 here this week and we're not in summer yet...not that I'm complaining. Had my work Christmas party on Saturday night, good chance to have some free drinks on the company before I depart on Friday. Getting a bit anxious about my new job now, but nothing I can do now except try to prepare. Enjoy your day

Morning. I think I'll cancel today. I know it's not the strike day until tomorrow, but frankly if today is anything like yesterday, it may as well not bother starting. I managed to apply for the same job twice. Which is fun. The employer also doesn't seem to be in any hurry to recruit anyone, as their confirmation email says they will review the CVs "over the coming weeks". Normal train cancelled for instead of having a seat and watching a DVD on the train I had to cram in and stand all the way to work ( and was of course late)
Oh well
