AArrg!
So my copy of Skyrim has arrived, but for the first time in my life I can't log into Steam. It says "This could be due to a problem with your Internet, or with the steam network".
I've tried two different PCs. It just times out, although there's nothing wrong with my interwebs. The status page tells me there's over 100,000 people playing Skyrim right now - but I'm not one. This is annoying me a lot!
Is this normal? Is there anything I should do other than keep trying and frantically pounding my fist in the air while shouting "connect you bar steward!"?

No Mac version of Skyrim on Steam. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it in the bargain bin at Game, or see what riches come my way at Christmas.

maybe, if I can stop it crashing. It keeps bombing out and saying "This game is unavailable on steam right now" or something similar. Very pretty when it works, although I'm a bit lost at the moment...

Speaking of Steam, Half Life 3 then? Eh? Where is it then? Eh? And you better not tell me it's Windows only.

From what I can see they released an update (1.2) today and it's completely [LIFTED] things up; including dragons flying backwards and the magical resistance ability having no effect at all when employed. Seems like they've got the usual teething problems.

Ironically, it seems to play better on my weaker PC - slow but reliable
