I may have concussion  I did a really silly thing in my car and decided to drive off road into a farmers field walkway thing as it looked good to explore, car got stuck in a rut and I was like whoops, randomly walked all the way to a random farm and asked if they could pull me out and he did, I got a lift in his tractor and he didn't realise I wasnt fully in and he slammed the tractor door really hard and it hit my head and since then when I try to say sentences I say them backwards  and jumbled  I have concussion? I deserve it fully for driving in a stupid place.farmer charged me £10 for the callout which was bargain as proper callouts would have been £70, also my exhaust is wrecked now after being towed. so with this possible concussion? I should go to hospital? :P

I hate it when people have concussion. They have a tendency to repeat themselves ad nauseum and it's no good getting flustered as they don't know that they are doing it.

I am thinking of inventing a concussion reply machine for emergency workers. Just press a convenient button for an answer.

Pt- "What happened?"
Press button A.- you fell.

Pt- "Where am I?"
Press button E- In an ambulance.

Repeat for the 45 minutes that it takes to get to hospital.

It would be nice to think that in time it could be developed with speech recognition to avoid even the button pushing.

I was concussed once. They kept me in hospital for two days for observation. My eyes were doing different things. I think it took them a day to start to respond properly to light.

I've knocked myself out after falling down a great flight of stairs at home once. I was about 10 or so.
I'm sure I must have been concussed since then, but I can't recall any great instances. :s
Should you have been driving anyway bratty? ;) :P

I've only had concussion twice, which is an achievement considering two rugby matches a week for about 5 years adds up.

Agreed, it seems you need to get some lessons before driving it.

Seriously, don't drive it until you've had some more training. You're a danger to other road users atm.

hm I always let people cross road etc whenever possible, my dad gets his high blood pressure up really high (hes foreign welsh) and he gets absaloutly livid at the human filth that live up here, as he sees it time and time again, he praises the foreign english and says how the mentality it totally differant and how whenever he is in England, pretty much everyone is a courtous driver (from his experiance) as they let people out a LOT more and a LOT more often, which completly outweighs the miserable Scots here :P

You need to stop using generalisations when describing folks then adding words like 'scum' or 'human filth'. Remember, I'm from Moray and have failed to let someone out from a situation like you describe above. It doesn't however make me 'scum' or 'human filth'. Unless you know the full story then don't generalise and for goodness sake stop referring to peeps from other areas of the UK as foreign  . Oh, and I'm not miserable - far from it.

Incidentally, all my friends from the south (England) inform me as to how courteous the drivers are up here.

Al
