HI, I got a PS3 keyboard the other day. It’s a little thing which clips onto the joypad. It connects via Bluetooth and lets you type and mouse about the screen. It’s not too bad, and far less bulky than a regular sized keyboards. It’s certainly far better to use than the default text entry method, though the size may get a little getting used to. For those who are interested, you can find details about it here. http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Hardware/Acce ... th-Keypad/This is now the smallest physical keyboard in the house. The previous record was held by the Newton keyboard, which was really rather good.

There's something similar for the 360, haven't used it though.
When I read the title I remembered a keyboard I saw in Gamestation ages ago, when the PS3 was only a few months old, it cost about £50 odd, I asked what was so special about it, "Bluetooth" was a short answer, "Bluetooth" is the long one. It did less than my current keyboard as well!!

Been tempted to get one, but as I hardly ever message people on my friends list I don't see the point yet!

Whoa... that looks like a black version of the 360 chatpad >.<
Which is pretty damned amazing for something so simple. Makes life a hell of a lot easier.

I used to avoid stuff on the PS3 which required text entry because typing text on a joypad is a royal PITA. The little keyboard makes it so much easier.
Oh - you have not seen painful text entry until you have tried to enter text on a PSP. That needs a little keyboard too.

They make you want these because for some reason all the software keyboards I've ever seen, not on a phone, don't follow QWERTY, they go alphabetic ABCDE. Why its just retarded and annoying for anyone who uses a regular keyboard. I can't see any reason for not using QWERTY on the on-screen keyboard, apart from just being awkward.

The onscreen keyboard on the PS3 is QWERTY. The PSP is more like a mobile phone, which I find dreadful to use.
