You're gambling on a lucky sale to a gullible individual in a niche market. I guess it's worth a shot, provided there's a sensible reserve. It is nearly Christmas after all.

Just saying that in a market populated by thousands of more or less identical items, you will sell for less.
Find a market where the seller can call the shots = profit.

Adding a monitor to a PC doesn't really make for a novel bundle though, does it. Most people are capable of adding up the price of two items; hence you can only "call the shots" to the mentally challenged buyer (of course - the best kind of buyer). If anything, most people would expect a discount when buying multiple items as a package.

The monitors are still available new for less than £200 or refurbished for £120. Second hand, they've been going for around £60 each (check out the eBay completed listings).

As said though, no harm trying - especially given the time of year. Hopefully someone is very keen on exactly this package and doesn't want to shop around.

Ok, I can see what you're saying, but if you need a system like that, then the attraction of buying it as a complete, ready to go, unbox it and plug it in type of deal is hugely attractive. No waiting around to have multiple vendors ship things on different time tables.
And I expect my bill to go up when I add things to my shopping basket, not down.

Are you referring to my "most people would expect a discount when buying multiple items" comment? I'm referring to the bundles you see advertised - "Buy this together with this and save £20!" or "Buy two, get one free!" type bundles. Surely you've seen them?

Yeah, I know the type of thing you mean. They're usually done by large resellers trying to shift inventory, or in the second hand market it's people trying to shift stuff they know is [LIFTED].
If you're confident in the quality of what you're selling, there's no need to start down selling and doing yourself out of profit.

I didn't suggest there was. I was simply pointing out that far from expecting to pay a premium for a bundle, many people would expect to make a saving over buying the items separately.

If it's stuck on eBay as separate items you can still link them together. Something like "If you want to buy a complete editing suite, you'll also want to take a look at the monitors I'm selling here and here as well, which go really well with this machine" should mean you get the brainless n00bs and the people who know what they're doing bidding everything.

This is what I would do. List them individually but link to them from each auction.

There seems to be some speculation that the new iMacs could include some Apple TV integration. I am not sure quite what that means though.

Eh gad, it's been a while since I've seen you 'round 'ere.
It's frankly amazing that there hasn't been some sort of TV functionality in the iMac since they started having screens larger enough to be viewable from a distance, except of course it would have messed with Apples plans to get you to pay for the content.
