I have a 3' plastic tree in a cupboard. It's probably staying there. By the time Xmas gets here, I'll be sick of it.

Call me Scrooge but I'm more than happy to let the house remain undecorated...

Sales are up 40% here this year, but prices have remained stable (about the same as last year) at about 9€ a Metre.
Due to the heavy snow last year, they couldn't fell enough trees to keep up with demand. The drought and warm weather in November this year has meant that they could fell enough trees.

I'm not bothered about decorations but I like having plants in the house. The tree with some small lights on would do me. Actually, it probably won't be much more than that.
Smells nice too.

I'd be happy with the tree and lights too, but swmbo seemed to buy decorations from every shop she went in... there were enough decorations left over to decorate another tree!

I'm so pleased I'm not a kid anymore, our family had a tendency to bazooka tinsel onto the tree so that there was no greenery left.

We were never rich growing up so as kids, our tree was no more than 4ft. We used to place it on a small table so it was high enough to put presents under.
When we were older (teens), we had a full sized tree. For the past three years, we've gone back to using the small tree again. Easy to decorate, doesn't take much room and not too OTT.

I find trying to get hold of a small tree quite hard. Almost everywhere has 6/7ft ones.

We got a live one from our local garden centre, we spent a bit more on it (£40) but I've potted it into a huge pot so it should live for a few years and make a good investment. We decorated it this past weekend and steered clear of the tinsel (the kittens were eating it when it was still in the bag!!) and I think it looks rather nice: I'm looking forward to seeing it grow over the years!

Just lights on ours at the mo. The GF will want to put a couple of red and white thingamebobs on it and maybe a couple of very small baubles but that's about it.
