But a photo of the deceased bird under your window would be ideal for an entry in this month's photo comp. It is "contact" after all. :)

Was contemplating putting the tree up, but there doesn't seem much point when I'm going to have to take it down again in a couple of days :|

Iced the cake, boiling the ham, made the brandy butter, making the giblet stock and just about to make the sausage meat stuffing whilst enjoying a bottle of wine. A proper chrimbo!

We were gonna have Xmas at home as per usual. But (as some may recall), my aunt was recently widowed. Hence she's coming to grandparents and we've been "invited" (ie told) to come round for Xmas. I wouldn't mind but it'll be crowded, hectic and means we can't make any of the stuff that we planned. We're now planning a second Xmas dinner at ours on Boxing Day.

So, Christmas dinner is over, the presents have been handed out and everybody is stressed - not over Christmas, over Gf's mother (see FPotD).

I'm going to be celebrating Christmas with a nice quiet shift of BOP tests.
They couldn't have timed that better if they'd tried :D

Well, I suppose it's about time I got into the Crimbo spirit - this year it's gin and tonic but I've got a load of beer stashed away for later.

Anyway, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Al

Well, after CE ham we couldn't face CD turkey so now that's a BD turkey.

May just have a quick shower and head for a boxing day walk on the beach with the GF. :D
