They remade The Thing? Again?

Either I heard about it and have a sh!tty memory, or nobody told me. Probably the former.

Not seen it yet but it is a prequel to the Carpenter remake.

Yeah, from what I can gather, it's set in the Norwegian camp; whose events directly precede the action in Carpenter's film.

I hope it's at least half decent.

Unfortunately not. If you can forget it is a prequel (sort of) so you don't know the outcome and have not seen any film with physical effects, then this digital pile might get half a star out of ten. Do your self a favour, find one of the cinemas running Carpenters version on the big screen and go see that again. Wish I had.

Spent today helping my little sister move

Up at 0645 and in the car by 0700. Filled the petrol tank and had a maccyd's brekkie.
In peterborough by 1000. Loaded three cars with stuff.
Left around 1100, drove to Norwich and arrived around 1330. Unloaded car.
Did some food shopping for lil sis, and then went to the town centre to eat.
Set off for home 1700. Arrived 1930.

Absolutely shattered. Although have got everything ready for the first day back at work, I don't feel like I'm gonna be much use tomorrow.

I really hate English spelling. There several words here with the same spelling but different possible meanings, leading to numerous possible interpretations:

1. Something to do with crack cocaine rolled up with tobacco
2. An agreement with a Music Venue
3. A medical ailment, possibly caused by an arrow to the knee
4. You've shrunk a heavily tattooed gentleman, possibly while doing crack outside a gig?

. . . and many others. My money is on number 4 because of the capitalisation.

Personally, due to the context, I'm banking on picking up some sort of ailment/condition.

In game or IRL? The previous "I am a vampire" statement might also apply to either reality...

If it's IRL, hope you feel better soon Paul!

My money is on confusion due to writing "also have" rather than "have also." I'll pass on whether out not that is correct grammar.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but there seem to be fewer knee-related guard injuries these days, did anyone else find this? Did they patch it?

Dunno. I only had one say it in the first place I went to, which was right before a big patch that made it crash even more often so I've not played a lot since!

Our glass/can recycling box and cardboard recycling bag have disappeared. I suspect the wind although I'm hoping it's the neighbours.I don't want to have to call the idiots in the council offices again :(

We took the outside Chrimble decorations down today.

Well, the wind had done most of the work for us. We just had to retrieve the bits and put them in their boxes again.

Buried Granddad today. Not the best day.

In other news my 32 year old cousin has become a grandmother. FFS, I give up with this family!
