And check out the iPad story!

Back on topic, do we think Sony will keep the Cell going? They spent an awful lot of money on an absolute nightmare apparently... :?

Oh for the love of God, why why why do people pay any attention to anything Digitimes says? They've been wrong more often than the weather forecasters. Why on earth would a company launch a product which is undoubtedly going to sell bucketloads of units, then make it obsolete within 6 months, at which point the previous model will probably STILL be selling bucketloads? Frankly, history suggests Apple aren't idiots when it comes to making money. And it equally suggests Digitimes ARE idiots when it comes to predicting what Apple will do next.

For pity's sake.

If Digitimes had any sort of record at all, I'd be typing this on an Phone 5 and the iPad 3 would already have been out for ages. Get a grip on yourselves C&VG

Didn’t we have the “two iPad in one year” story last year? Did it happen? Answers, in order: Yes, no.

I would be very surprised if Apple ever did this. They seem to like to have at least a year between iOS devices.

I remember it as the iPhone, but at least one was rumoured wrongly to be a cheaper version, and the stories were everywhere as opposed to just Digitimes...
