If you are writing about the restaurant Nando's (note the apostrophe in the name) and you are talking about something that belongs to the restaurant. i.e. their popularity with the public. Would you wirte "Nando's' popularity"? TVM ::EDIT:: or even "Nando's's" LOL! Or would you leave it at "Nando's"

Just out of curiosity, are you writing about Nando's?
I've just had two lots of crap service recently. Wonder if they're going into decline.

I don't see what the fuss is personally, it's just KFC with a plate.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Your options are: - Rewrite the sentence to avoid the problem - preferred
- Grit your teeth and treat 'Nando's' as if it were called 'Nando' i.e. Nando's popularity

Adidan is correct, however I would have most definitely written "Nando's's popularity", because just how many opportunities do you get for doing that?

Contact them directly and asking the correct way to do so in order to comply with registered trademarks. However on this page “FAQ’s” has an apostrophe, as does the word “chicken’s” in the list of popular questions. http://www.nandos.co.uk/contact-usNote that RIM has a preferred way to handle a plural of their riot-friendly communication devices - and no, it’s not Blackberries.
