Anything mentioned there catch your attention (Page 4 is about cameras ;) )? I'm interested to see if they'll all repeat the failed tablet experiment (there's rumours of a 10.1, 8Gb job from a major manufacturer for around £220 our money though), as I could see one being my next tech purchase :)

I also wanna see if they still have an appetite for 3D ;)

Acer Iconia Tab A700 - Ice Cream Sandwich tablet gets shown off

Lovely, but I imagine the price and Joe Average's ignorance of specification without a funky TV advert won't help it much... And I'm sick of reading Ice Cream Sandwich already

Pffft, it hasn't even got Ice Cream Sandwich ;)

And I love the 'It'll really help the 3D consumer!' spiel

Samsung inTouch brings web and Skype to your TV

Maybe it's just the photo, but that looks like the sort of keys one of the old Spectrums used to have

I think the last thing anybody wants is another remote and wire tbh, though the Skype's interesting.

I like Acer kit in general (generally decent specs at a reasonable price), but what do you make of the ports?

I quite like t-bolt as a technology, but that's an awful piece of industrial design.

As to earlier posts, if everyone is planning to put ICS in their televisions, where does that leave Google TV?

I struggle to line up USB sticks with side ports sometimes

I'm not even sure Google knows what it wants to do with GTV, just that it's a 'space' it wants to be in...

The battery life on the Kindle's impressive as it is, why would you be arsed with that? :?

Jesus wept, check out the specs for the Lenovo TV at the top of the thread:

Quote:
Lenovo K91 Android TV

Set to land exclusively in China to begin with, this 55-inch 3D HDTV has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 8GB of storage, and can pillage the Android Market for apps. You'll be able to use Bluetooth peripherals, or practically any Android smartphone or tablet, to control it.

It also has a forward-facing camera for facial recognition system unlocking, speech recognition to control the TV by voice commands and cloud support for swapping files between the television and Android devices. No word on a UK release or price yet unfortunately.

It's mental, isn't it? I spose alongside your 'droid phone or tablet you could stream all sorts and save other stuff to the TV, but even so...
