The price of orange juice on the global markets has hit a record high, after surging over the past few days.

Traders say the main reasons are safety concerns about juice from Brazil, the world's largest producer of orange juice, and cold weather in Florida.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

We pay 77p a Litre for the long life stuff in cartons, that doesn't seem particularly high.

Point of order: are you a juicy bits or a smooth person? Red reckons the juicy bits are Satan's dandruff so we have to buy 2 different kinds to keep us both happy.

Juicy bits FTMFW. Smooth juice has no better redeeming qualities than burger cheese.

I don't mind either way but, seeing as the rest of the family won't touch the 'juicy bits' stuff, I invariably drink 'smooth'.

Milkshakes, on the other hand, are the work of the devil and ought to be banned.

Smooth juice all the way. If I want bits in my orange juice, I'd eat the orange.

Don Simon special offer was 50p a litre in Asda recently, fresh squeezed :)

I prefer smooth but my favourite orange juice (although I rarely see it anywhere) is Sanguinello

I'll drink either, but due to the requirements of others I invariably buy smooth.
