If you do shopping from Amazon can people remember to link through the X404 Amazon store. If you Use the following link & purchase anything from Amazon then we get a few pennies for the site. If it's not in the X404 store but is on the main Amazon site as long as you've used our link first then it should still help us. If we're missing any Amazon departments then let me know an I'll get them added. This is used to fund hosting & development and to help keep adverts off the site & forums. X404 Amazon LinkMany thanks

I love amazon more than ever now, cos I bought a 50gb blu ray blank as I thought it was time I needed to backup all my mods and addons from 2003, what came through were 25 pack of 25gb blu ray blanks which would of cost me over £40 what a bargain, I love wrong orders

Shame you didn't link it two days ago. I've just spent £150 with them.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I'll try and get our department secretary to buy through the store. I frequently spend hundreds a month with Amazon at work.

I'm all for helping keep adverts off the site, what a good idea! On the lookout for a couple of hard drives, so will use that link if I get them from Amazon. Can't see any Firewire models in there though. Just out of interest, what sort of commission do you earn out of that on, say, a £100 purchase? I'm guessing it's less than 1%, but as they say, "Every little helps"!

A couple of % up to £6 max I think. It's not much but it's something.
