Really annoyed now. Doing a bit of DIY and managed to get superglue on one of my lenses. That's at least another 50 quid down the swanny. :(

There is something that will dissolve superglue but I can never remember what it is. I think it might be nail polish remover. Worth a google to save 50 quid anyway...

Acetone IIRC which is only in SOME nail polish removers

You can buy proper superglue remover from B&Q, comes in a red pack
http://www.diy.com/nav/decor/tiles/adhe ... =266887342

(used it when the rear view mirror stuck on my car fell off and left a superglue mess)

I'd suggest that before acetone on account of anything on the frame it would damage, the proper remover is a gel you can let penetrate then it wipes off :)

Tread carefully.
Are your lenses plastic or glass? If it's glass, try the acetone tip. You'll run the risk of damaging the lens using a remover on it if it's plastic.
http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-remove-super-glue-from-plastic-and-vinyl/ might be of help.
