I've had phones that have bluetooth since 2006. In all that time I can easily count the number of times I've used that feature on my fingers.

With my D750i (T-mobile's version of the K750i) and the K800i, I was an avid fan of bluetooth. I bought a SE bluetooth headset that streamed music from the phone. This was the headset: I remember it costing around £35 (huge amount given that I was a student at the time) and had to be imported from Japan.

All phones such have a full sized USB socket on them.
I've used blue tooth once to send a photo to a laptop, I may have given up when it didn't work and got the proprietary Sony cable out instead.

I use it pretty much all the time on my PCs. I'm pretty much entirely wireless - mice and keyboards (and network/printers over wifi). The iMac I have at home there are only two wires into - power and USB to a hub. if I could do inductive power & USB through the iPad's base I would. I also use it with my iPad as I have a gadget (a Griffin Beacon) that operates as a universal remote an d connects to the iPad via Bluetooth and you have 'virtual controls' on there (yes, basically you end up with a REALLY BIG touchscreen remote control). Which also allowed me to control my AV kit from another room if I have to . Sometimes use it on my phone to hands-free in the car, but that's if I'm going on an unusually long journey and/or am expecting a call. Most people who have my number know not to ring me at the time I'm usually commuting. So overall, I seem to use it an awful lot.

In the car, the onboard radio/climate control unit has a BT connection for hands-free phoning.
Walking the dog / in the gym, I have a BT stereo A2DP headset, which is a lot better than cabled earphones getting tangled up in the dog lead, or getting caught on equipment.

Once or twice I have attempted to use Bluetooth for ad-hoc connections between phones for transferring pictures, but it invariably never worked and I've simply given up on it. Don't drive so no need for anything like a hands free kit.

you've never played an Xbox 360 or ps3 with wireless controllers? They both use bluetooth.

Nope. Had a PS2 which used a cabled controller; haven't owned or even used a console since then I don't think. All my gaming happens on a PC or on a table (invariably with a board and these weird people called 'friends' )

I'm not knocking it I was just surprised that you had never used a current gen console. I'm an avid fan of playing Monopoly late into the night

I use to use it a lot before I got an iPhone, but Apple in their infinite wisdom decided I couldnt be trusted with this evil technology so I havent used it much for the last 5 years.
