Yes. Unfortunately, this image has no embedded colour profile in it, so any accurate colour comparisons can’t be done. Most apps that save JPEGs don’t offer the option to add a colour profile, despite the fact that they can. The PNG screen shots of Rachel do have a colour profile attached to them (but whether that’s a default profile or one from a calibrated display is something only jonbwfc can confirm). Sadly, Pantone 568 isn’t a properly close match to the dress:   Pantone 515 is right out:

It's not a calibrated display no. However it's the apple supplied profile for my iMac's screen, so I'd hope it's at least not entirely random.

Caps from a piece on Channel 5 News this evening where Rachel was being interviewed as promotion for the launching of a campaign to improve adult numeracy in the UK.   The full piece is here (90MB MP4) Apropos, something occurs to me. Emma Crosby (the interviewer) and Rachel are both currently in relationships with millionaires. So the next time some woman tells you it's sense of humour that counts... Jon
