Apart from my dad, everyone else has gone off on holiday.

It's a strange experience. Funniest is neither of us know how to operate the dishwasher, so I've just downloaded the manual. Doesn't look too difficult but I've no idea where all the soap/salt stuff is for the dishwasher! Also means two weeks of me cooking my own meals instead of my mother's cooking. Funnily enough when I went food shopping, I was surprised at how much the stuff on the conveyor belt looked just like what I used to buy. The only difference was no chocolate-type dessert, and a couple of tracker bars for work.

In Star Wars they came up with technologies and ideas that they had no need to explain using real science, and when questions were raised and things poked and discussed, fans and followers tried to rationalise and explain such things as lightsabers and the force, and eventually created a coherent back story and universe, for what was, essentially, to begin with, nonsense.

Religion is like believing the fan fiction.

With the dishwasher, if you have multi-part tabs, you generally don't need salt and rinse. If you do use them, the clear rinse (translation of the German) fluid & salt gets put in once every month or so (depending on how often you wash).

Food. With no mummy to cook dindins, I have to think about what I wanna eat.

I'm tempted to order from just-eat.co.uk but looks like I'd have to wait an hour!

The NOS inner tie rod ends I just won on eBay. £38.50 delivered. This is a considerable saving and an all round WIN.
Now to sell something I don't use to replace that money...

Pesky Eurostar and their inability to broadcast live service updates except when stuff is going wrong. I can't tell if things are fixed or if the website is just useless.

You must be acquiring quite a few flags now.
