+1 We lost Geoff Coleman today after a short and ugly battle. He will be sorely missed by all his Speedo friends :(

German Post Office? :( ;)

You do like to stir Bratty up, don't you!

GPO = General Post Office, the forerunner of Royal Mail, established in 1660. The name was changed from GPO to "The Post Office" in 1969. In 1981, they were split into Royal Mail and British Telecom.

Does anybody else see pictures of people they used to fancy, think about what might have been, get a shiver down their spine and say to themselves, ‘What the hell was I thinking?’

Just seen some piccies now. I really liked her 5 years ago, but nowadays I might have had to stab her in her smug face with a spade.

That's happened to me when I started up on facebook. Tracked down some of the girls from sixth form who were "babes" and look at them now and thing "how the hell did I think they were hot?"

ION, it's started. I've had to pluck two hairs that were too high for a moustache and too low to be nasal. Just got to keep an eye on the ears now.

Had my review at work yesterday. This is from the team I am leaving and I have always had a feeling that certain team members don't like the fact I'm a woman.

The only criticism they could make about me was that I have lunch and leave on time  There was no mention of the numerous times I come in early or the times I miss lunch to attend meetings or even work from home to get things done.

I mentioned it to a friend who works in HR and she thinks I should complain and get it removed from the review. Another friend agreed and thinks it's jealousy. A colleague I told yesterday said "WHAT???"

Thoughts anyone?

Did you raise this with them during the review or was it a paper review?

I left it in the review. We just read through it and commented on bits as I am leaving. The guy that wrote it was with me but I want to raise it with our manager (who would not have written it)

I would definitely raise it then, just because the review wasn't a fair criticism of your working life, given the early starts and missed lunches.

I travel for 3 hours a day to get to and from work. I know exactly who has an issue with me and they both live 10-20 minutes from the office so they are not bothered when they leave. I will speak up as I have kept my mouth shut so many times in the past.
