Police, probably been knicked. actually most things you "find" in good working order are probably lost or knicked and should be handed in.

Doesn't really matter, unless it's really ancient and you think it's got rare value, fire extinguishers don't cost much and most people will want one that is checked and certificated if they're planning to use it to fight a fire.

That Amazon might be right about the Kindle Fire leading to no-brainer purchases if I'm anything to go by on my own tablet

There is an abundant, carbon-neutral, renewable resource on Earth. Simple to collect and turn into pure energy. It's everywhere. There is currently one trillion tonnes of it, and this figure increases by 10 billion tonnes every year. Wood.

We're getting more 'guests' than usual these days, are people not logging in or getting logged out?

I keep getting logged out. Probably partly to do with logging in from several devices. I'll then come along, open 10 or 20 tabs and not notice I'm not logged in, until I go to write a reply.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I don't mean any offence.
But it's worth letting this sink in.
404 British military deaths in the war in Afghanistan after 11 years.
886,939 British military deaths in WW1.
If WW1 had lasted 11 years, British military fatalities would have approached two and a half million.
