Well perhaps, but given that is rent only, I'd still be paying out on bills and all the other living costs, it's an unrealistic proposition. It's not actually as if I'm able to save anything each month at the moment for a deposit anyway, so it's all rather moot.

Hired a car from Enterprise today - I reserved a Class D (Focus, Astra or similar). I arrived and the only class D car I could see was a knackered 59-plate Astra; I was far from encouraged. And then I smiled when I saw the brand-new Seat Ibiza. ‘Free upgrade, Mr. Chew. You've got a Vauxhall Insignia.’

I kinda feel guilty now but I'll post this here:
[LIFTED] day at work. Everything after waking up was an unmitigated disaster. On the way home, I decide to pop into Nandos. Order burger, extra large chips, corn on the cob and cheesecake. Waitress takes my order, my cash and gives me the cheesecake in a bag. I have to wait twenty minutes and some other chap brings the food to me. He shows me the burger, the chips, the corn and the cheesecake. I say nothing and walk out.
I got two cheesecake slices for the price of one. It should be "win". I'm half tempted to head back tomorrow and pay the difference.

Was a bit nefarious, but I wouldn't beat your self up about it. And, to be honest, I'd be very surprised if their till system was able to process anything like that, unless they did a new order just for a cheesecake then didn't give it to you. The whole thing might end up as more work than the difference it makes. Plus, lets be honest here, the markup on restaurant desserts (particularly chain restaurant desserts) is enormous. You won't actually have cost them anywhere near what they were asking you for it.
If I was you, rather than go through the whole rigmarole of paying for the extra cheesecake, next time you're in there leave a tip roughly equal to the cost of it. That way the staff will get it rather than it just disappearing onto the branch's bottom line and you'll have paid your dues, as it were.

Just released an update of my app for Beta Testers with some big changes!
Added camera recognition which took fricking ages to get working but it now works! Woop!
Also, just made a load of "retina" images for all the UI objects. They were pretty much all done anyway but I've now also made 1/2 size images for non-retina displays so they don't have to down-scale the images and it should slightly improve the performance.
I've also fixed a couple of bits that weren't working!
Woop! I've been working on this solidly for the past 3 weeks now. Non-stop (when I'm home). Still got a long way to go but it's getting closer and closer to being finished!

It depends on the quality. Good sausage is good. Bad sausage is bad.
