Morning World!

Weds at last! It's already been a long week and I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the weekend, I can sleep as late as I like, it looks like the weather may be reasonable this weekend so I might get cracking on my veg patch early and I anticipate a bit of sitting in a chicken run letting the chooks get used to me. The aforementioned chooks have got the hang of putting themselves to bed when they're ready so we just have to close the hatch, the coop needs cleaning out this weekend which I'll do and perhaps some chooky cuddling may be the order of the day, they need to start getting used to being handled!

Otherwise the house needs a bit of a declutter, the sofa throws need to be washed and I need to sort out seedlings to reclaim the window ledge in the spare room. I'm very much looking forward to ditching this week already, fortunately my boss is on holiday from tomorrow so that should provide some peace and quiet!

Good Morning all

Another frosty start but a sunny day

Reading a report and drinking tea – all I need is some cake to make it a bit more bearable

Morning.

I'm wondering what further humorous escapades the jokers at the Westminster Comedy Club can come up with today.

I am also wondering what satirists are going to do with themselves when the real world becomes beyond satire.

Oh, and I need to sort out my portfolio for an interview on Monday. Blimey!

Onwards and ever-so-slightly upwards.

Another stunning morning, although the forecast shows cloudy and overcast at the weekend.

p.s. Positive vibes beamed in HK's direction (for Monday)

Morning All,

Contrary to expectations it looks to be another lovely (if slightly hazy) day! It's quite warm outside and I have a lot going on today, I'm getting professionally measured and then swimming, then home at 4pm.
Chickens are settling in nicely, it's about 9 inches from their legs to the end of their tails at the moment and they have got the hang of putting themselves to bed at night :D

Happy Friday!

Good Morning all – I am typing this in word while I wait for my browser to catch up – not sure what’s happening but the string connecting us to the outside world must have got damp last night as its hardly working

Working from home today. Was great not to have to get the trains this morning!

Morning all.

Munf-end stuff out of the way. Now I need to start arranging stuff for the trek northwards tomorrow.

I have half a tank of fuel worth 300+ miles and more than enough to get to Doncaster so, unlike the airhead, panic-buying wazzocks out there, I won't be contributing to the fuel station queues until I actually NEED to fill up.

Morning all.

Parents arrive on Monday for a week so I guess a little housework is probably in order
Mind you, I seem to say that every week (the doing housework bit anyway) and it hasn't happened for a while.

Have a great day folks, even if it looks like the weather is taking a turn for the worse.

Morning

Back from 3 days on Dartmoor helping out on the student's short films.
Being on the side of a Tor ready for sunrise twice with one group, while another group was shooting mostly night stuff has made for very long days.
But, considering that about two years ago we were snowed off the moors at this time of year, three days of 20°C and clear blue skies has was a very pleasant surprise.

Nice early start :( One guy in the Close opposite has a motorbike that he starts off in the morning and then just leaves running for about 7-10 mins in his drive before turning it off, restarting it and then motoring off. I've never owned a motorbike but I wonder if this is necessary every morning, even when the weather is not cold? Oh well.

Apart from that, have a good weekend one and all.
