Has anyone come across this before? Colleague has done a back up through terminal using the ditto command and after checking back up all the files are greyed out and name have weird names such as bc.xxx. Never seen this before so any help much appreciated.

The size of the folder that was backed up is the same as the original folder. You can open the files too but they are still greyed out when restored to the user machine.
