Hi all

Has anyone here bought software through Deedshop.com at all? A friend of mine has just got her first MBP, and is looking to load up the CS5.5 Standard Suite and found it on that site at a really good price. I said I'd check it out for her... I'm of a cynical mind these days and think if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

Could it be a genuine price drop due to the imminent CS6? Googled the name, and found a few 'good' reviews but they could be planted.

EDIT - Site based in US, so would software from there successfully install in UK should the site be a-okay? No region specific limits?

If anyone has used these or has any knowledge of it, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Ben

I mailed to ask about compatibility... got a reply to say that it would be fine but would need to purchase download version to avoid tax/import duty... which I suppose makes sense... but answer very short.... not 'professional' I would say.

And wouldn't purchase-able download versions only be available from Adobe direct?

Got on to Adobe Chat - they said it's not an official reseller site, and download versions can only be purchased through their official site....

Hands up, who's surprised?

Personally I just look in the repository.
