Grrr!

As part of my training, I must do 72 hours "out of hours" work ie weekends and after 1830. Some of this can be taken up by tutorials and mandatory review sessions. Using the info they gave us at the beginning (July 2011), I worked out that I would clock up my final hours this weekend (total of fourteen hours over two days) to a total of 74 hours.

I emailed them to double-check how much the mandatory sessions count for and this has now changed from last year! I'm now six hours under target, so I need to scramble for these sessions before the end in three weeks.

What makes it more frustrating is that I was originally going to spend ten hours last weekend but because this brought me up to 84 hours, and other colleagues needed more time, I gave it away.

It now looks like I'm going to have to do some sessions during my annual leave and the bank holiday weekend.

Submitting your extra hours claim at 27.50 p/hour as initially agreed only to find your boss amended it to 17.46 per hour when he signed it off and passed it on to payroll. Without telling you.

The London 2012 website is retarded. I registered for tickets in March last year, the system won't allow me to change my address even though we've moved, the helpline people (while prompt) have suggested I pay to have the Royal Mail re-direct our post... Do they have any idea how much that costs? If I'd done so since we moved in May last year we'd have spent £160 on re-directed post by now!!

THe helpine guy also said that we'd have to re-register to apply for the next batch of tickets AND the £10 site-only tickets, but you can't re-register with the same email address ?!

I am definitely not eligible for a ppi claim as I haven't had a loan since 1997 and I didn't take ppi when I had it.

I have a webpage I want to refresh frequently, ie every 20-30 minutes. However if you don't refresh within 5 minutes, then when you do you get kicked back to a T&C screen and then have to drill down 2 levels to get to where you want to be.

What makes it more annoying is the amount of people who ignore the T&Cs anyway.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I may have a look at that. It's only just become an issue so I'll have a couple of daysbefore I get really annoyed.

I've had the kind of day that makes me want to drown things.

No, but it was exactly the scene in my head when I was writing that.

This is my first annual leave in over 14 months. I've taken annual leave before but because it was just before exam sessions, I was always studying. So I figured I'd get to do all thise things I've not had a chance to do. Family knows this too yet they seem to think it's okay for me to spend it running around doing errands for them! Feck off!

I'm starting to suspect that the BMW's place on the road as the car of choice if you're a cock is slowly being eroded by the VAG drivers.
Some utter cocks in VWs and Audis locally.

I've been thinking that for a couple of years. And of course anyone driving a skoda is automatically a cock.

I find the Skoda fraternity fairly inoffensive. There's a couple of Golfs locally that take obnoxious to a whole new degree, and an S2 who's convinced that no matter what the traffic is doing, his place is in front of everyone.
Watched Golf this evening squeeze right behind me as the lanes merged into a single lane, cutting up the car behind, he then sat close behind me, before overtaking on the roundabout and trying to squeeze in front of me. Unfortunately the VW T5 van ahead was straddling the line and he couldn't complete his overtake, so I was forced, on the bend, to practically graze the railings as I turned and eased back off to create space for him. Now he's past, you might think he'd be pleased to potter past the busy bus rank at 20 like the rest of us, but no, he floors it to pass the VW van, cuts him up on the entrance to roundabout.
Van goes right, leaving me and the Golf. I pulled up behind him, and as the lights turn green, he pulls away, before turning to look at me for about 20-30 seconds, as he crosses the junction and carries on up the hill.
I'd count the number of places a pedestrian could've been hit by this [LIFTED] and his private plate TDi Golf.
