Aye it's quite good that one, some of the CGI is still quite impressive. Sequel doesn't quite live up to it sadly.

I saw Sucker Punch at the weekend and loved it too. Want to see the extended version though as it seems to tie in a lot of the story that was missed in the cinematic release. Been recommending it to everyone as want to talk about it. A lot. _________________Still the official cheeky one

Avengers Assemble

Whedon's a safe pair of hands these days when it comes to understanding what geeks want from a comic book movie.
The risk of so many big characters in an ensemble piece like this was that each would be a watered down, possibly piecemeal affair that doesn't do anyone justice.
I'm glad to say that this isn't the case - in fact this might be the best Hulk film so far.
Some moments made me laugh, a couple of moments made my neighbour audience members jump.
I saw the 3D version, and it's actually not bad. I don't think the 2D version will lose that much, but just bear in mind that some of the action sequences were certainly made with 3D in mind.
That said, I'm looking forward to watching it again at home.
I'll be waiting for the next Iron Man (Hawkeye movie did I hear?) with interest.

Hunger games.
I liked it. right amount of gory, pretty fast paced. A good moment.

Have you seen Battle Royale? Yes I've seen battle royale and I liked. Hunger games is not aimed at all at the same public at all, hence why it's a 12a There's a lot more of a background story of how the country got to the stage of organising kill offs, more than just the gory killings.

+1, it was remarkably geeky, and I mean this in a good way, there was a fair bit of dialogue in between the action. And some brilliant humour that'll work for everyone, really. Now that we've got the 'meet and greet' out of the way, I can't wait for the sequel  Actually, on that last point, it really is remarkable that Whedon managed to flesh out the characters so well. I quite like some of Tim Burton's films (or at least I did when I was younger) but I've heard mixed things about this film. _________________ He fights for the users.
