Has anyone here got access to MUTV? The wife phoned me this morning to say that she'd been told United have offered £60 MIllion for Torres. Apparently it was on MUTV but I can't see anything on the BBS News site.
Any confirmation or denials anyone?

Vella - being a United fan, and generally getting the gossip early, I can say I've heard nothing about this. I've not got access to MUTV (as I'm at work) but I've had no news from friends or family to that affect.

Nowhere (as we now appear to be using surnames ) - I've only heard one other person mention it, and the price quoted was £45 Million, but... Dail mail Linky about Barca going after Benayoun*sigh*

Rafa's cracking up, he's cracking up....
Interesting move by Barca, seems a strange decision after Rafa's statement the other day. Although saying that, the BBC have quoted Fergie as saying "I wouldn't sell that mob a virus", and look where we are now.

Good riddance for United, getting £80m for him. That guy should be in circus, not on the pitch. I really don't understand why Real want to pay so much money for him, he must be so disruptive player to have in the dressing room.

As my (MUFC fan) mate said...
Cristiano who? Oh, the portugese lad who falls over a lot!
Somehow, I don't think his style will be as effective in La Liga. Until they play against English teams.
Nice profit for MUFC though, I'm sure SAF will put it to good use. If the American owners let him spend it.

Ronaldo has been massive for ManU to be fair. But his ego is massive/disruptive, he wants to go anyway and its a massive amount of money. ManU would be crazy at this point I think to turn it down. He will never be regarded as an Old Trafford 'great' though will he. Didnt he have his best season last year anyway??! Maybe once he's gone Rooney can move back into a goalscoring position. He works hard on the wing but his talents are wasted there.

Real Madrid have reportedly pulled out of the £80 million transfer deal for Cristiano Ronaldo. They have discovered that Primark are selling big girls blouses for just £4.

God, I'm tempted to cause a flamewar here about how much football sucks, but I won't. Suffice to say I hate it.

Given the number of threads that don't feature football vastly outnumber those that do, you therefore must have been really unlucky to click on this one at random. Jon

In fact, given the large number of threads and the few here that do talk of football, multiplied by the probability of your pressing one link and ending up in this topic by accident, must mean that you should either gamble or reeeeeeally not.
