Morning,

They're dropping like flies here, as the lurgy achieves sufficient potency. Sicknote is already scouting for opportunities - a surprise to many, I'm sure.

I am, for the time being, symptom free - long may it continue.

Have a healthy one.

Mornin' chil'un.

Today, I have the day off :D. Some car-washing may ensue.

Morning.

Today I are mostly paintin' my garage door. It's been needing a repaint for some years, and as the weather's reasonable, I'm not doing a lot otherwise...

So, I'll be a bit thin on the digital ground today. :)

Onwards and paint dripwise.

Lo peeps

Today I shall be mostly doing housework, washing cars, looking after childs and walking the dog. Throw in a healthy amount of cooking, gardening and waiting for the repair man to fix our 3 month old fridge and that's about my day complete. Don't you just love retirement

Afternoon world!

Today I am mostly sweating! Work in the garden this morning, laundry hanging, then into the paddock shifting turf this afternoon, Zumba at 13:30, defrosted freezer and fridge now raked almost all of the paddock, we have a heap of dried grass for burning which is nearly as tall as I am and there's still more to do.

Well, back to it 8-)

Morning all.

Looks like it will be another hot one and I've got a couple of hours on a train to look forward to. Still, I'll be off to Manchester to see friends so it's all good.

Have a great day folks.

Hallo everybody, I'm back in the world that has internet connections!

Just got back from a lovely holiday, great weather, lots of walking and trecking over mountains etc. Got some nice snaps of the Harz narrow gauge railway, when we did a day trip to the Brocken.

Once I've sorted through the images (24GB), I'll post some up on Flickr and link to them, I think maybe Heather will be interested in the narrow guage railways pics.

Afternoon

I have just collected my new glasses.

Holy jumping Jebus! From nearly three feet away, I can see individual pixels on my screen. It's like I've finally got a zoom function :geek:

Meant to post this a few days ago, but I am now legally allowed to pilot a motor vehicle without assistance. Rather a relief really.
