Hi,
what is the recommended email client for windows 7?
How do I transfer mail from outlook express (win 7)?

I use Zimbra desktop client for my gmail and hotmail
http://www.zimbra.com/products/desktop.html

You can add non webmail accounts (Exchange via IMAP, plus IMAP and POP)

It does everything Outlook Express did, and more. I think it's actually pretty good, unless you have over a zillion emails in which case it gets rather slow.

any one had any issues getting thunderbird working with virgin imap mail?
got pop working but imap doesn't seem to want to work...

I thought Virgin email was just 'rebadged' google email. In which case I think you have to specifically turn IMAP on in the options somewhere.

supposedly its turned on , but when I try to specify the imap... server it doesn't find it...
