OK I did find one good sounding source that backs up the "not ignited by firing" explanation, but not the friction bit: This is the one that makes total sense to me, and explains how they can have delayed ignition. It's kinda like how a delayed absorption coated drug works. from http://community.discovery.com/eve/foru ... 5219512101

rusty the quote I got previously was this thread http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/Forums/ ... 229&page=2Just did some googling - the friction thing didn't sit right, but neither did the instant ignition thing.

Mythbusters is above all entertainment. Hats of to them for trying to be consistent with their experiements and make it fun, but any 'scientific' conclusions they make should be taken with a grain of salt.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

One of the few shows on our channel that I've actually watched. We have this poster hanging downstairs:

Coffee gives me headaches.
I suspected as much, so I've only been drinking tea for the last couple of weeks. No headaches.
This morning, I had a coffee. One hour later - headache.

In the middle of 2011 Marvel, now Marvel/Disney, regained the rights to Blade and The Punisher.

Is that a good thing?
The first Punisher film wasn't too bad but wasn't anything special whereas I felt Warzone captured things more accurately.

Marvel's absolutely determined to tie the films into one universe, and absolutely nothing's off-limits (see the recent posts in the comics thread). I love the notion of Frank or Eric showing up, even in cameos. The first Punisher ran into the limitations of the character I felt, where the second just full-on embraced the comic. Neither really had much character to them IMO

Did you ever play the Punisher game? I loved it in that you had the ability to torture people for information - they did a little of this in the first film but I don't recall it in the second.

Everything you need to know about The Punisher can be squeezed into about 15 minutes. Wringing 90 minutes out of him is asking for problems.

^^^But that could be said about most of the comic book characters.
