* Voting is open for one week until midnight on the 7th July.

* Please vote for your favourite three images.

* You cannot vote for your own image*

Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points.
Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point.

If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few.

Think about what makes the image good or bad, what the submitter was trying to capture etc. It shouldn't just be about the hi-tech professional equipment.

Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread.

This thread will run for 1 week only. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month.

Most importantly, good luck to all entrants.

As a quick reminder, here are the entries one more time.

The Entries

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Ok, voting has closed and results have been calculated.

Code:
33   Seeing Red   davrosG5
14   Caution: Squirrels   jonbwfc
9   Cardinal Red   Paul1965
9   All Red   bobbdobbs
6   Red Dawn   Spreadie
1   My Path Is Clear   l3v1ck
0   Don't Walk   HeatherKay
0   How British   steve74

Quite a margin at the top there so Seeing Red is the clear winner. Congrats to davrosG5 for an awesome picture.

I would have expected to see some sunsets or sunrises in their. But with the current weather that was just never going to happen. Also great work by everyone else.

Next topic/theme to arrive soon.

Yay! Well done DavrosG5!

Is this a first? I scored not one point this round. My powers must be waning.

Thanks to everyone who voted for my pic.
For those who care about these things the snail was returned unharmed to the wild (well, my back garden anyway).

New topic submitted so watch this space.

Congrats DavrosG5 :D

BTW, not that it makes any difference to the outcome, I make the final scores as follows:

Seeing Red - 33
Caution: Squirrels - 11
All Red - 10
Cardinal Red - 9
Red Dawn - 8
Path is Clear - 1

I haven't had coffee yet though...

A bit of useless information:
My photo was the corridor floor on level 3 of the Rowan Viking.
Each level has a different colour door and floor for quick identification.
Level 0 =blue
Level 1 = green
Level 2 = yellow
Level 3 = red
Level 4 = grey.

Hmm.. Have you ever heard of a role-playing game called 'Paranoia?'

Grats to Davros. An excellent photo. Also loved Paul's photo, great contrast.
