Chris Moyles is to leave the Radio 1 breakfast show at the end of September.

The 38-year-old has been presenting the show since 2004 and became the station's longest-serving breakfast show DJ in 2009.

Announcing the news, he said: "We're off. I wanted to let you know. A couple more months of us, then it's someone else's turn. Thank you for listening."

I might start listening to Radio 1 again, once that twit leaves.

It's not as if he chose the music they play - that's all playlist. OK, he's a mouthy idiot but it seems highly likely they'll replace him with another mouthy idiot anyway...

Don't care either. Don't listen to Radio 1. Listen to Kissfm in the mornings, Heart other times and have recently got in to Radio 2 (sign of old age I reckon)

The last time I listened to Radio1 was when Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley presented the Evening Session.

Which muppet at the BBC thought putting Nick Grimshaw in the mornings would be a good idea.
Looks like I'll need to find something new for the drive in to work.

I've never liked Radio 1, and Nick Grimshaw certainly won't help that...
