I get this message:
The page you're looking for has been blocked.

We're complying with a court order that means access to this website has
to be blocked to protect against copyright infringement.

That's on O2

+1, of course there's a well known torrent search engine that throws up all the other options. And Googling 'How do I get round the pirate bay block lol' probably works too...

A drop in file-sharing following a court ordered block of the Pirate Bay was short-lived, data seen by the BBC suggests.

A major UK internet service provider (ISP) said peer-to-peer (P2P) activity on its network returned to just below normal only a week after the measures were enforced earlier this year.

Quelle surprise!

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

They did it on Vigin the other month - I now "understand" that if you go to a legitimate Political Partys Web site that they have a proxy

Pirate bay isn't the only site so not sure what this is achieving. I'm with Virgin so access is blocked but doesn't bother me.

I think the point is that it hasn't achieved anything, well apart from a small blip.

Some people use Opera's turbo mode.
