S'true. I have exactly the same responsibilities now as I had when I was 21. Just now I've got about £18k a year more to use enjoying the things that aren't responsibilities, as it were. Can't claim to be in as good shape as I was at 21, but I'm getting to grips with that and probably will be within 6 months. Screw the 'house, 2 kids and a car' conventionalities Jon

I'm 43 and still think of myself as young enough to enjoy life - and I try to!
Also started swimming again as I haven't been for about 4 years. Reckon I can easily go about 3 days a week and still be home in time to have dinner before 8.30pm.
My point? You're never too old to enjoy life or make the changes to make it better.

It's dead at work so the only change I can make is to walk out which I will be in 26 minutes.

Just done something I haven't done in years. Laid out in the sun for the best part of an hour doing nothing. And it was glorious.

It's good to feel the sun on you. We don't get enough of it in this country. Spent an hour or so on Sunday laying in it and loved it

Well it's not been fired (obviously) and it's not a blank, so I think it's probably wise to assume it was live at some point. With that much corrosion on the outside who knows what the propellant inside is like. Given there's nothing in the picture to scale against I can't say exactly what sort of round that is but I suspect it's plenty enough to kill someone if it goes off, whatever it is (for the record I'm guessing it's probably a WWII .303 round - looks like it ). Be very careful. Seriously.

Sunburn. Clearly, I wasn't very thorough when slapping on the sun cream.
