NOTE: There's also a load of stuff just appeared on software update - updates for iWork, Aperture and Safari 6 for Lion.

He's very thorough is Mr Syracusa. Although I think the 'pay us money to get it on one page' thing is a bit naff. Jon

Freebie code has arrived. Well, when I say 'freebie code' what I actually mean is 'one email containing an encrypted PDF file, and another email containing the unlock code for that PDF.' I'm assuming the text of that PDF is actually the code I have to copy into the App Store app to get Mountain Lion.
Christ what a rigmarole.

You're not the first to mention that.

Unless I've upgraded automagically, the GM has the same build number as the release, meaning that I've been running Mountain Lion for the last week or so

It's also effing useless. 'Your redemption code has already been used'. what a bunch of clowns. Story seems to be that they reset the system after the 'up to date' page went live prematurely, but when they reset it they didn't mark all the codes they had previously sent out as already used. So when the page went properly live, it just sent out the same codes all over again. And of course those codes had all already been used by the people who got them early. Clowns. And not the ones with the squirty flowers either. The crap ones who only get to drive the car that falls apart.

Yeah, I like the wooshy progress bar and the "universal address, search bar thingy". But I prefer my tabs to be of uniform size. Actually... ...no can't find anything.
