I think the skull needs to be more organic, which is why I liked the TJ one. I suspect the comic ones were more based on keeping things simple and hence more angular.
Also, are you going to do any prep work for TDKR? I want to watch Year One, Gotham Knights, BB and TDK but deciding on which order. Also having played the games, I felt the games were better than thefilms in the way Batman is portrayed.

The TJ skull was definitely a bit more unique comparatively. I've seen them all quite a few times now, though you've reminded me about buying the BR trilogy when that happens. That's the thing with the games, the medium itself allows for the stranger, even flashier aspects of the comics, where Nolan has to be a bit more mainstream. I like both, but Nolan gets to draw on my favourite aspects of the comics ie tooled-up detective takes on nutters.

Have you received yours? Has been a month with nothing in the post. I emailed them to ensure they had "deliver to addressee only" and they asked which shirt and that's it. Not heard anything.

MOTU close to finding it's director http://www.aintitcool.com/node/57346Please let it at least be average ffs - I hate the thought of having to wait years for another stab at it. It's been an anomaly that it's taken 25 years

That was one of the first graphic novels I ever bought. It's a great story. I approve. Will Charles Xavier be returning then, I wonder?

15 Awesome Would-be Actors For The He-Man Movie http://www.totalfilm.com/features/15-aw ... -man-movieI'm guessing what they'll actually do is get a bunch of cheap 'hunks and hotties' and throw in an older actor for some sort of credibility

Actually, most of those choices might actually work. But I would want the movie to be more based on the 2003 MOTU which was less campy and more serious. I would argue there should be no slapstick type comedy either.

You could basically take the '87 film and update it with modern techniques there (within reason, super-shiny CGI and ADHD editing can do one). So long as they understand that Skeletor should get some super-snide lines If they can get the tone right, and the sorcery/science angle might prove difficult for a lesser director, I really want a full-on franchise that uses The Horde, Two-Bad, you friggin' name it
