I was getting tired with Sense 3.5 under ICS constantly kicking my podcast player out of memory, so I upgraded to Jellybean on my Sensation today (Cyanagenmod 10). Very nice so far. Everything I need seems to work so far.

Only things not working are voice recognition - the microphone works in phone mode, but not in speech mode - and the camera. As I don't use either, no big loss.

Otherwise it looks very good so far.

The only problem at the moment is battery life. It doesn't recognise the high capacity battery and says it is empty, when there is still 40% charge.

I'm back on the official ROM. It isn't as good, but at least I get 2 days out of the battery instead of 1. I'll let it mature a bit, then I'll try it again.

JB itself is great, the customisation for the Sensation hardware is, obviously, not up to the levels htc themselves manage.

Apart from the battery life, the camera and the mic in speech mode. 2 of those I'd term as a problem for a lot of users. ;)

only if your using it on non supported hardware. Theres a world of difference with an official ROM and a totally unofficial ROM adapted by some geeks

The difference between a generic version and the tailored version...

The generic version doesn't have the drivers from htc, it has drivers written by the hacker community, so they aren't as efficient or well tailored to the hardware as the drivers from htc.
