Will HMV actually have the Batmobile book and BR deals worth looking at tomorrow as I try to use up my credit? Also, why is it so difficult to get a decent-looking necklace? And even a nasty piece of crap costs these days

Is the batmobile book an owner's manual type thing or a history of the vehicle?
I wanna know when the superduper bluray version of the trilogy will come out.

With over 4 years as a dive instructor my favourite type of student has been someone in the military services. They pay attention, take notes, follow instruction to the letter, and even call me sir. Today I had a student who may better that, not through occupation, but by recreation. This student is a licensed sky-diver. He listens to what I say, thinks about it for a moment, takes it in, and then says 'yes' or 'ok' in a manner only befitting complete understanding. He is especially attuned to the backup and failsafe procedures. Fortunately for me he is my only student on this course, and I've been able to pass on extra skills that would not normally be covered at this level in this location, he's soaking the knowledge up like a sponge, and demonstrating complete mastery of the skills I've taught him. He doesn't rush and even better, critically self-evaluates his performance before I get a chance to put a word in. After the nightmare that was was the last course I taught, I'm looking forward to the next two days (touch wood). Now that doesn't mean every sky-diver will be as good, just as PhDs, Doctors or simpletons can make good or bad divers, but it is looking rosy at the moment.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

My car. She is not well. First day back at work and I'm late after breaking down. Suspected electrical fault somewhere. Still, I know my 'Service Engine Soon' light works a treat.

If the opportunity arises, I'd be more than happy to offer a course at cost + expenses. Same for any regular here, you just need to track me down.

Spoke to the garage, looks like I've narrowly avoided an electrical fire. Lots of small gremlins and loose connections and melting wires going on, and I've just told them to mend it ASAP. I'm waiting for a new rotor cap and arm to arrive, and I'll drop down some new spark plugs in the morning, and they're making up new battery connections too.

Referrals. Specifically mine. Doc sent the gall bladder op referral in Tuesday last week. Hospital have it but it hasn't gone onto their system because of a backlog over the Bank Holiday. Best guess anyone can give me is 4 weeks. I can't go on like this for 4 more weeks! Have made another appointment with Daktari for next Tuesday to try and do something better about pain management, I hope we can find a solution because I'm not sleeping at all well which is affecting my ability to drive, do my job and even function on the most basic level.

we've had military trainees and they've been a joy to work with because they do the work, listen and put the effort in too. Makes my bosses lives a lot easier as well as my own. Contrast this with the trainee who has more medical experience than me but is still shockingly poor at managing patients in primary care.

Why is it when the one time I need to do some urgent online banking, it's the one time the site is offline due to a problem?
