No, what the current mob do is sack half the civil servants, then after waiting until it all grinds to a halt come out and say that 'we must take the best principles from the private sector' and then sell the job off to one of the their mates who will charge about five times what the civil servants used to cost and will channel most of the profit into a tax haven in the Caribbean.

Well Duh! Massive cuts are bound to affect the quality of services, even with some reforms/efficiencies.
If we haven't got the money, then we haven't got the money, no matter how much it may suck.
