Loud! It used to come regularly to the Lee on Solent Airshow when I lived in Fareham. Incredibly loud, when he was over the town, he had to feather the engines and was pretty much at stalling speed, just powering up long enough to boost speed, then feather again. We also had an F111 come over, I thought that was loud, until the Vulcan came over. My father flew in Vulcans and Victors, when he did his National Service, as well as Shackeltons.

Finally used up my HMV credit, got BRs of Sin City, Predator 1 and 2, BTTF trilogy, T2, and The Departed, alongside a Batmobile coffee table book. Only cost me about £3.50 in real money

My car's had the smoke put back in the wires. It's had a lot of rewiring done, new spark plugs and rotor arm. Running very nicely now - apparently the old plugs had worked loose slightly!

For the last two months I've been instructing and guiding entry level divers to a max depth of 18m. It's been easy diving and I haven't been deeper than that in over 18 months. I've recently had a bad course where I had to can a dive because too many of the people there were a liability to themselves and me, and have just finished the consecutive course where my 1 student was perfect in every way. In fact another instructor on the boat pointed out that he was a mini-me. This one student was so into diving that he decided to do an extra day's diving to enhance his skills, so yesterday I taught him Deep, Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy. First dive was awesome, just the two of us to a depth of 29m, I was completely narced and could barely focus on the tasks. Today I was on a play day with the owner of the boat my company uses most often. Reached 29m again (boat depth limit is 18m for passengers) after 75-100m of blue water diving, got to around 5min of my NDL and was within 10min of my NDL for the majority of my following two dives. I came back with an SPG reading of 20-25 bar for all of the three dives. Thankfully I wasn't as narced as I was the day before. Had live-drops in the middle of nowhere and it wouldn't surprise me if I've seen things today that very few other peole have. This claim is relating to location and not species. Fantastic day, this is what diving is all about!!! Apologies for the jargon.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
