http://www.thewrap.com/tv/article/clint ... ople-55286Obama's the best president that country's seen in a long time IMO, but he's hamstrung by a lot of history. And he's a politician too

Depends on what you mean by "a long time". George W was an idiot, but I rated Clinton quite highly.

Out of the last few presidents I think I would rate them thus:-
1. Ronald Reagan 2. Bill Clinton 3. Jimmy Carter 4. George Bush Snr
Very last: George W Bush
If the American's don't re-elect Obama then god help them - and Iran !

I doubt many american military service veterans would agree with Carter as high as no.3, and Reagan was widely regarded as a lame duck president. It's a toss up between Clinton and Bush Snr, IMO

Takei speaks on on Rebublican party He makes a very good point. IMO. Low levels of government beurocracy and wasted spending should appeal to be, but they're such a bunch of right wing religious nutters at the moment, I couldn't vote for them (if I was an American citizen)

Typical politician, he gave a lot of promises and said "and you can take that to the bank," none of them were fulfilled and the banking system is crumbling. Coincidence? I think not.
