I know of a few farmers who have cats around purely as mousers, so... Mate's missus, her family hate cats but tolerate them in that sense

I'm not 100% on this one, but I believe it is because a dog is classed as a fully domestic animal whereas a cat isn't.

Maybe those lamenting the ineffectual nature of squirting water from washing up liquid bottles for humanely repelling moggies should consider one of these...

Nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Faye's cat will only eat Iams, and demands 'sloppy' food at around 6pm. And if she sees you going near the fridge and knows that prawns are in there, she won't leave you alone until she gets some.

Half the ones I see nowadays are no more than handbags and not working handbags at that.

My ex actually has a plushy dog handbag. Not made from real dog. Not a lot of room in it either as I recall

There's not much room in a dog either tbf. And it's a bugger to get things out again.

Did your mum not warn you about sticking things places they should be Jon? Anyway, cats. Since we were on holiday our cat has been a nightmare, every night she whines and meows at stupid o'clock. It's not because she's wondering where we are, she knows exactly where we are as when whining doesn't work she runs upstairs and starts purring in my face or taking one claw out and gently taps around my eye with it. Bloody thing.
