Nearing the end of S1, and I'm loving it. Great writing.
I've seen S1 of that, really liked it too.
How many seasons does it run to?

Mark

6 and still going

Excellent news. Thanks, Carolyn. (8+)

No and don't want to. I can't see how they could possibly improve on the UK one. Refuse to watch the US Office too although I like Steve Carell as a comedic actor.

Don't think it's been mentioned yet but if you fancy a new comedy show try The Middle. Very funny.

Anyone watching series 7 of Dexter?

Saw the first 6 episodes yesterday and loved it.

It's amazing. Really exploring the relationships to a ridiculously deep level and totally taps into all 6 previous seasons and their themes. I found it to be one of the best overall. Can't wait to see how they wrap things up next season...!

I agree. I think it's one of the best yet. It's great they've kept it so fresh over so many seasons too.

It's the richness of the world and the central character. I identify a lot with Dex. And it's very similar in that way to House or Lie To Me. The central characters are compelling because they're different, completely outside the norm, but still perform a role within our society. It's often difficult, but that's what makes for the great drama. One of my favourite shows of the past decade. And that's saying a lot ;)
