Teachers, I can remember watching that before I gave up my TV and emigrating. :)

Yeah it goes back to 2004. I'd seen the 1st 2 series but wasn't sure if I wanted to carry on after one of them left. Found it all on 4OD so been watching the last 2 series during my lunch breaks. Stops me going out and spending money :)

I remember watching Teachers only because of the characters had big hooters. I think I watched it for a few mins before I switched off.

The Job Centre won't pay for my wife's college course as according to their rules, she needs to be sitting on her arse doing nothing but signing on for 6 months before they will do anything. :x

Job Centre always has some reason not to help people who want to improve themselves. It's bollox!

Anybody else having problems with Talk Talk? The phone is dead and the Internet isn't working. Having spent 30 minutes on the phone to them, from my mobile (which is going to cost a bloody packet) they've now said that they are still not sure if there's a problem but they'll phone me back within the next 72 hours. I've tethered the laptop to the mobile so I can try and get an update from the TT website, but right now I am bloody fuming! :evil:

Not at the moment, but in the past I've found the problem to be that you're using TalkTalk.

Women! Told mother and sister earlier in the week that I was going down to Bicester today. They wanted to tag along (well I need them to tell me what looks good since I have no fashion sense and see nothing wrong in wearing a navy blue suit jacket, beige chinos, purple shirt and yellow tweety bird tie).

Reminded them last night that we should leave at 0800 to arrive by 0900 with the aim to head home around midday before it gets incredibly busy (I hate shopping, especially clothes shoppig as I have to try stuff on and there are crowds/queues). Alarm didn't go off for me so I was awake at 0800 but ready by 0820. The womenfolk were up at 0800 and not ready until 1000!!! Then they complain because it's busy/crowded, and the food places are busy with nowhere to sit and eat!

Fecktards. Seriously!

Why can't people text you back when it comes to something time-sensitive?! Especially when you texted them hours before! :roll:

OK, so the I received a text message at just gone 8 this morning telling me that the issue has been resolved.The internet is now working but does anyone know how I go about getting back the cost of spending half an hour on the phone to the clowns yesterday?

It was an 0871 number and I phoned it from my mobile, as the land line was dead. I spent most of that time trying to explain to them that it was not a problem with the telephone handset, as that wouldn't cause the Internet to stop working. In the end I sent Brooke across the road to borrow a second handset to test, but discovered that her phone wasn't working either, at which stage they finally believed me and escalated the call.

Having just checked on the "My Orange" app, I now know that the call was £9.74 and I am determined to get it back. I'd assume that I start with a polite email to customer services unless anyone has a better, and preferably legal suggestion?

You could threaten them with the small claims court (no solicitors needed). It would cost them more to send a staff member to defend the case than it would to refund you the money.

We've had to ring Talktalk a few times quite recently. Each time there has been an automated message advising of a landline number you can ring so that you can ring from a mobile...

I've spent over 2.5hrs on the phone to them in the past.
Worst.
Customer.
Service.
In the world.

I understand you're hurting, but there is no way they can be worse than bt. Absolutely no way whatsoever and I won't hear any opinion to the contrary.

I can't even remember what my issue with them was, my mind has obviously blanked it out as all I remember is that it took a year and the personal intervention of my mp to sort it out.

It's weird
Plusnet = owned by BT
BT = poor customer service
Plusnet - good customer service
How does that work?
