Another change request.
Can embedded links please open in a new window/tab.
I much prefer it when you can open multiple links by clicking them all (i.e. in the photo comp thread).

The Scan thing is a very good point. I've enjoyed free carriage from them ever since their forum was available through CPC and always liked them. It would be nice to retain the free carriage as well, if possible Apart from that, sounds like there are stacks of good ideas floating around already. So I'll let you guys get on with it for now........

Right click open in new tab not work for you? That's the only way I ever open links.... Smile Request:A "whatever" / "shrug" / "Meh" kind of one - sometimes just isn't enough for the closing of a sentence like mine above

Yeah, I could do that but I browse on a laptop using the mouse pad so right click isn't as easy as right clicking.
Also, it makes sense to keep the thread on one page and not have to keep moving by default.

Sounds good to me! There's so much more to open source than linux, not to mention the weird and wonderful apps that run on the nixes!

Ar ha laptop touchpads - I feel your pain, with this weather as it has been I've been wanting to sit on my bed in the sun with my laptop whilst surfing, but it's such a joyless experience because of them.... there's always the simpleviewer/flash(?)esque pop up style that come up on the screen for full-view views, but I've yet to find a forum using one that works transparently with the forum - they always feel like add ons (which of course they are). Whatever method(s) employed, could it be set as a user preference in phpBB?

I can't remember - is it a Mac or PC lappy? If it's a Mac one, try turning on two-fingered scrolling. I can't live without it for right-clicking on the pad.

Or learn to command-click, that works in Camino, I think it works in Firefox and Safari too...

Hey all. I can just nick the old Rouges Gallery code now. Believe me, its quite a palaver typing it all out. We can just delete and amend entries as required. *edit* My first post, and I've put it in the wrong thread.

I already have I just think it makes more sense to have links opening into a different window when the link isn't related to the originating website.

I agree. If a lot of us are now moving off CPC to here rather then bit-tech, why not make up our own folding group?

I think that the option to change forum theme would be nice.
I'm willing to make some banners for different themes if required =)
But I can't do this pure-white malarkey, it's painful on the eyes and god think what it's going to be like tomorrow morning >.<

Can we have [s][/s] for strikethrough please?
It's the one thing other forums have that the dennis place never did.

I'd be willing to switch, particularly as they just renamed it the "Custom PC & bit-tech" team.
