This popped up on FaceBook the other day. That poster will soon start putting me off Gill Sans.

To be fair, they got tiresome quite a while ago.

Think I first saw this on the Fb Wall of ProfessorAlexMonkeyMan, and I'll say now what I said then … keep calm, Paul*, they are only posters.

Did it? End, I mean? Hasn't it just rumbled on ever since, with different enemies every now and then for the USA's military-industrial complex to throw rocks at?

a lot of people think ww2 is still ongoing, hence this "1000 year war" speculation something to do with hitler deliberatly losing then UN formed straight after ww2 "ended" to cause more havoc etc to present day or something, hard to explain, not really looked into it much

It’s certainly hard to draw the lines that separate various historical conflicts across the globe - one always seems to be a trigger for the next.

No it's really easy. WW2 ended in 1945.
The other wars were other wars.
And thus common sense returns to the debate.
Next we'll be saying it's really difficult to tell where one person/animal/plant ends and the next begins, as energy just seems to flow through life on Earth.
No, there's a lion, there's a tree...there's WW2, there's Iraq.

If you say so. I shall draw a line under it, and no longer take the longer view.

Not really my opinion, it's in the history books, there are official declarations of war. they're usually tied to one region or nation. The pattern being humans killing other humans strategically I presume?
